This meeting was held outside at Site 2 due to the coronavirus restrictions, within the rule of six physically present. G5FM was virtually present taking advantage of the social distancing features of 2m FM from home.

  1. The Committee stood down and was re-elected,

  2. We will change the net frequency from 145.475 to 145.375 because of increased QRM 1. Matt gets a lot of QRM on 145.475 at Site 2.

  3. We will move the net from Friday back to Wednesdays where in used to be before the Covid pandemic, in two shifts
    19:00 onwards - early and
    21:00 to 22:00 - late shifts

  4. We propose to reopen the club in person at Site 2 from Friday 21st May 7pm at Site 2, which should be within the planned Covid rules of up to 30 outdoors. This is contingent on the Covid situation, and to some extent the British weather!

  1. S19 is dropping down one from the calling channel S20, and there is increased activity as the amateur radio community welcomes new licensees, increased with the new online exams system
